How do I create a Rockwell Automation account?

Registration Questions

How can I start the registration process?

Start your registration process by scanning the QR code on the product packaging label or by manually entering the product Serial Number and Catalog Number.

How do I register a product using the QR code?
Chevron DownChevron Down

To scan a QR Code, open your phone’s native camera app or a third party QR Code scanner. Align the camera with the QR Code and follow the link.

What if I cannot locate the QR code to scan?

If you do not have access to the QR Code located on the product packaging label, you can enter the Serial Number and Catalog Number using the manual entry option.

Should I register to my Company or my Customer?

An end-user customer should register the product(s) to the “My Company” option during registration. Products should only be registered to "My Company" when the address listed for the company is the final location for those products.

What is Rockwell Automation doing to ensure my information is secure?

Rockwell Automation follows strict security protocols. Please note, your secure Rockwell Automation account credentials are required for you to access information regarding your product(s). 

Warranty Questions

When will my warranty be extended?

Typically, you will see your warranty status upon completion of your product(s) registration. You can find your warranty status for your product(s) in the "My Registrations" option on the Product Registration page in myRockwell. 

In some cases, it may take longer for us to verify the information submitted after which time you will receive an update notification.

Why could my product be ineligible for warranty extension?

You may have entered incorrect product information at the time of submission, your product may not be included in the Product Registration Program, or your existing warranty is either already extended or expired. Warranty extensions are not cumulative.

What are the extended warranty terms under the Product Registration Program?
Chevron DownChevron Down

Products identified as "Registerable" shipped by Rockwell Automation directly to end-users or to authorized Allen‑Bradley Distributors and authorized resellers and registered to an end-user location may be eligible for a warranty extension. Please refer to the previous question for products that may be ineligible for warranty extension.
