What's New?

Withdrawable Air Circuit Breakers Offered

A CENTERLINE 2100 motor control center is now available with a withdrawable air circuit breaker for a main breaker. You can specify the high-performance breakers to help increase safety with remote operations and decrease downtime with easier service to removable components.

Withdrawable air circuit breakers are frequently required in oil, gas, metals and mining applications with NEMA and UL regulations:

  • SCCR ratings:
    • 65 kA @ 600V for typical applications
    • 100 kA @ 600V for demanding applications
  • Rated up to 3200 A

Faster Delivery for Motor Control Centers with 380V and 400V, 50 Hz

In industrial manufacturing and production, time is of the essence. And new LV MCC options are available with faster delivery times. CENTERLINE 2100 motor control centers can now be ordered as a standard configuration with incoming powers 380V and 400V, 50 Hz.

  • All motor control centers meet the UL 845 standard, including:
    • Starters with E100 or E300™ electronic overload relays
    • PowerFlex® 755TS variable frequency drives
    • Feeder circuit breaker units
    • Ethernet Switch and Power Supply units
  • Control power transformer included at 380V and 400V primary, 115V secondary

Additional Arc Flash Protection for High-amp Motor Control Application

To help increase workplace safety, ArcShield™ technology is expanded for CENTERLINE 2100 motor control centers. The expanded motor control center range provides additional arc flash protection for high-current applications – often used in the oil, gas, mining, water treatment and power generation industries. The mains are chosen to limit the amount of available incident energy. The new ArcShield safety range offers twice the bus current rating for 600V power applications up to 3000 amps and meets industry safety standards:

  • UL 845 / cUL C22-2, No. 254-05
  • NMX-353-ANCE
  • Type 2 accessibility requirements / IEEE C37.20.7

Increase Motor Control Center Safety with ArcShield Technology

Our motor control centers offer ArcShield™ arc flash reduction technology, increasing safety and meeting UL and NEMA standards.

  • Helps reduce arc flash hazards and provide more protection against internal electrical arcing faults
  • Meets Type 2 accessibility requirements, as defined by IEEE C37.20.7
  • Includes arc-resistant latches on all doors to keep the door latched during an arcing flash
  • Includes arc-resistant baffles in all units to enable adequate heat dissipation and retain arc containment
  • Offers a device limited arc flash solution for up to 600V and 3000 A current rating

A Motor Control Center with SecureConnect Units

Reduce exposure to electrical hazards by disconnecting power from a motor control center plug-in unit without opening the enclosure door.

  • Streamlines maintenance and reduces downtime
  • Offers minimal impact to current or future electrical design
  • A remote operator option allows customers to connect and disconnect SecureConnect™ units from the MCC

Remote Motor Control Center Access: IntelliCENTER Technology

With an integrated network infrastructure, smart motor control devices and user interface software, you can monitor and diagnose your motor control center from almost anywhere. IntelliCENTER® technology is the ultimate window into your MCC.

  • Software provides access to critical operating data and troubleshooting tools to help reduce downtime
  • A built-in EtherNet/IP network provides real-time data to minimize the need to approach the motor control center
  • The network is preconfigured and validated, so device connections, IP addresses, subnet masks, custom parameter settings for PowerFlex VFDs and E300™ Electronic Overload Relay, and advanced port settings are set
  • With our new cloud-based IntelliCENTER extension, you can manage motor control center devices in the FactoryTalk® Design Studio™ environment

Additional Network Options for the Motor Control Center

  • A complete Modbus TCP solution with the need for additional hardware
  • Streamlined integration into third-party DCS with predefined Modbus registers
  • A consistent approach to deploying the MCC with a standard 600V rated Ethernet cable and Stratix® switch architecture
