This module allows Rockwell Automation® ControlLogix® PACs to interface with IEC 61850 Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs), such as substation power monitors and protective relays.
Industrial customers rely on hundreds of IEDs from various vendors. The module supports up to 40 IEDs on a redundant PRP-enabled network, and up to 225 I/O connections to the ControlLogix processor. The in-rack product integrates seamlessly with a library of electrical protection devices from Rockwell Automation®.
The module supports GOOSE Publisher and messaging, helping to eliminate the need for hard wiring to the I/O modules in the ControlLogix; and features an Add-On Profile and custom-generated Add-On Instruction.
