Our Bulletin 1746 SLC™ I/O Modules are part of our SLC 500 control platform. Rockwell Automation announces that a number of Bulletin 1746 I/O modules are discontinued and no longer available for sale. Customers are encouraged to migrate to our Compact 5000™ I/O modules used with the Logix control platform.
Overview
- Installs in an SLC™ 500 chassis
- Connects up to three chassis with 30 I/O modules to a single controller or communication adapter
- Includes optical coupling and filter circuitry which provides signal noise reduction
- Some modules include color-coded, removable terminal blocks

To support your transition, we recommend that you migrate to our Compact 5000 I/O modules that are used with the Logix control platform. These modules are the local I/O modules in a CompactLogix™ 5380 Controller system. These modules are the ideal distributed I/O solution on an EtherNet/IP network for CompactLogix 5380 and ControlLogix 5580 controllers. They are great for applications with high-processing requirements.
